The People’s Liberation Army (PLA) Macao Garrison opened its barracks to the Macao students on May 2. Selected Primary 6 students from our school had an opportunity to visit the PLA Macao Garrison at Taipa to learn more about their facilities and daily operation. They experienced the solemnness of the flag-raising ceremony and participated in singing the national anthem. After that, they watched the soldiers perform their combat skills. They also saw different kinds of advanced weapons, armoured vehicles and munitions from the PLA performances. It was a memorable experience for our Primary 6 students.
