Music can connect the heart and soul of everyone. Our school Concert Band members and the executives of the Students’ Association went to Guizhou during Easter holidays to spread their love and care through music to the less fortunate ones. They visited a school and performed some music to the school children to spend a lovely afternoon with them. Aside from the visit to the school, they had the opportunities to have a deeper understanding of our motherland. There is a Chinese saying “It is better to travel ten thousand miles than to read ten thousand books.” Students went to the Zunyi Conference site, the Yunfeng Tunbao and the Huangguoshu Waterfall in person to experience the history, culture and scenic site in Guizhou. Through this visit, the students have gained personal growth intellectually, morally and physically.
