Our Arts and Commerce Stream students took part in the 11th Consumer Study Award (2025-2026), organised by the Macao SAR Government Consumer Council. The programme aims to encourage young people to engage in social affairs, develop rational consumption values, and strengthen their sense of civic responsibility.
This experience offered our students a valuable opportunity to apply their knowledge of economics and business in a real-world context, while observing and analysing consumer behaviour in Macao. They showed great curiosity about various social and economic issues in our community and were determined to deepen their understanding of the field. Over the course of several months, they conducted research and each team successfully collected over a hundred survey responses.
Nearly 1,100 students from across Macao participated in the programme, and we are proud to announce that one of our teams was honoured with the “Best Topic Award” for their study on consumer spending habits related to classic Macao brands. Their research provided valuable insights into how consumer behaviour data can be used to enhance support for boosting brand sales. In addition, the group received the “Best Script Award” for their short video, which clearly and creatively presented their motivations and key findings.
The award‑winning team members are Carman Lao (F6AC2), Elisa Leong (F6AC2), Kelly Ng (F6AC3), and Ella Wong (F6AC3). They demonstrated outstanding teamwork, analytical skills, and creativity throughout the project. Congratulations on their success and the guidance from their teachers!
