Our school participated in the “Family-Nation Sentiment Extended Education Programme,” organised by the Education and Youth Development Bureau. The activity took place at the Youth Patriotism and Love for Macao Education Base and several historical sites around Macao. Students followed the Patriotic History Education Route, one of the six themed routes offered in 2026, with the aim of deepening their understanding of the history, culture, and development of China and Macao through experiential learning activities.
On 16 May 2026, students from the Order and Discipline Committee participated in the 3.5-hour programme. The tour included visits to the Youth Patriotism and Love for Macao Education Base, the Macao Museum, the Jao Tsung-I Academy, and the Macao Tea Culture House. Through the exhibitions and guided activities, students learned more about Macao’s historical development, Chinese cultural heritage, and Macao’s close connection with the nation. The art and tea culture exhibitions also enhanced students’ appreciation of traditional Chinese culture and strengthened their sense of cultural identity.
After the tour, students took part in a short reflection session to share their learning experiences. Many students expressed that the programme helped them better understand the importance of patriotism, cultural identity, and civic responsibility. Throughout the activity, students remained attentive and respectful, demonstrating positive attitudes towards learning beyond the classroom. The programme also supported the school’s goal of nurturing thoughtful and responsible young people who care for the society and the nation.
