Today marks the 143rd anniversary of the foundation of the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary Institute. On 6th January 1877, the Feast of the Epiphany, the manifestation of Christ to the Gentiles, Pope Pius IX authorised the foundation of the Missionaries of Mary specially dedicated to the missions, in the Diocese of Coïmbatour. To commemorate this special occasion, we had a mass on 3rd January, 2020 to celebrate the Feast of Epiphany and the foundation of the FMM Institute.
