Purpose:
The ECA intends to look at a variety of performing art productions (including musicals like Les Misérables and Hamilton etc.) and to interpret the contents from western cultural and historical point of views.
Student would be able to link major historical events and social developments with various stage production nowadays.
Student would be able to appreciate different performing arts from a new perspective.
With an increasing understanding of various cultures, this would enable students to embrace diversity and develop an international mindset.
Students would be given an opportunity to conduct individual research on their choice of culture.
