Purpose:
This ECA aims to introduce students to the enjoyment and appreciation of films. Through watching selected movie clips and taking part in short, interactive activities, students will learn to notice how stories, characters, images, music, and messages work together in a film. The class also encourages students to share their views, develop their imagination, and become more thoughtful and confident viewers.
Content:
Term 1: Students will learn basic film language and watch selected movie clips.
Term 2: Students will discuss characters, themes, and messages in different films.
Term 3: Students will share their opinions through short presentations and movie reviews.
